Ordering Information
When you order from Mike's Organic you are getting the absolute freshest, tastiest and cleanest food available.
In order to uphold the high standards that we have established we operate in the following way:
Vegetables and Fruit are broken down into baskets. We will select whatever fruits or vegetables are freshest when we get to the farm. Your fruits and vegetables will usually experience no longer than a 24-36 hour time period from the time they were picked until they arrive at your door!
At Mike’s
Organic Delivery, whether it is Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, you can
always have access to the freshest, local, seasonal produce available. As the
seasons change, so will the local fruits and vegetables that go into your
basket.
By season you will get vegetables such as:
Spring (March-May)- Baby Arugula, Radishes, Early Season Greens, 6 kinds of
Apples, Beets, Carrots, Potatoes, Yams, Broccoli Rabe, Swiss Chard, Collard
Greens, Baby Bok Choy Kale, Spinach, Escarole, Baby Turnips and more
Summer (June-September)- Fruits: Apricots, Peaches (4 kinds), Cherries,
Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, Nectarines (3 kinds), Plums (4 Kinds)
and Ground Cherries. Vegetables: Heirloom Tomatoes (20 kinds), Cucumbers (10
kinds), Zucchini and Squash (16 kinds), Eggplants (6 kinds), Peppers (10
kinds), Sweet Corn, Basil, Scallions, Garlic, Herbs, String Beans, Peas,
Lettuce and more.
Fall- (October-December)- Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cauliflower, Spinach,
Collard Greens, Kale, Fennel, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Tomatillos, Winter
Squash, Celeriac, Beets, Rutabagas, Turnips, Radishes, Salad Greens, Micro
Greens, Apples (16 kinds), Pears (6 kinds), Grapes (2 kinds), Ground Cherries,
Winter (January-March)- Baby Arugula, Radishes, Salad Greens, 6 kinds of
Apples, Beets, Carrots, Potatoes, Yams, Broccoli Rabe, Swiss Chard, Kale,
Collard Greens, Baby Bok Choy, Spinach, Escarole, Baby Turnips and more.
Meat
All of our meat is Free Range (access to clean water, clean air, clean food, and plenty of exercise), loaded with Vitamins and Nutrients, and is raised humanely.
You can order meat by the pound and choose from several different types of meat including: Black Angus Beef, Dorset Lamb, Plymouth Rock Chicken, Embden Goose, Pekin duck, and Yorkshire Pig. Turkeys are also available in the Fall for Thanksgiving!
We also have special "Meat Assortments" for ease of ordering. Depending upon the Assortment you choose you will receive a variety of: Beef, Pork, Chicken, Lamb or a mixed assortment.
Please remember that we are working with Small, Local, Sustainable Farms. All orders depend upon availability and we reserve the right to substitute cuts of equal value if your request is not available.
All meat is delivered frozen to preserve freshness and maintain quality.
When you receive your order you will receive an itemized invoice.

This is a partial list of the vegetables that can be grown outdoors in Zone 6 (our Zone) and when they can be harvested. This will help to inform you of what you will be getting at what time of year. Please bear in mind this is just a guide, we deliver a much greater variety than this chart displays, but it will give you an idea.
