Hepworth Farm

Centuries of Excellence

The Hepworths have been farming in Milton, New York since 1818. Today on their 80+ acres overlooking the Hudson River, they raise all kinds of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, mostly according to certified organic requirements or higher.
Amy Hepworth is extraordinarily passionate about not only growing delicious and nutritious vegetables and fruit, but also pioneering new and innovative ways to farm both sustainably and progressively. She is a true steward of the planet and sets the example for other farmers to follow.
The closeness that they share with their entire team, from the guys working the field to cleaning vegetables is a testament to true sustainable living. Their workers love them, and they love their workers. This makes for better farming, happier workers, and most importantly for you, better tasting fruits and vegetables.

Hemlock Hill Farm

Good food grown locally

As one of the oldest working farms in Westchester County, New York, The DeMaria Family has been striving to provide the community with all natural, wholesome, farm raised products for over 70 years. It is their aspiration to preserve what is left of family farming in the beautiful Hudson Valley.
It is important to know where your food comes from and Hemlock Hills is a superior example of local, sustainable, multi-generational, family farming. They have Black Angus Beef, Rhode Island Red/Plymouth Rock Chickens, Pekin Duck, Embden Geese, Dorset Lamb and Yorkshire Pigs. All meat is free range, raised to the highest standards and is healthier and more delicious than anything you can get at a supermarket.

Pine Hill Farm

Started in 1980 by Kathy Blackshaw, Pine Hill Farm is an example of truly sustainable farming. On the gorgeous, rolling, 25+ acres they own in western connecticut you will see chickens running around catching bugs, relaxing in the shade and laying eggs, honey bees hard at work making sensational clover honey, and one dedicated woman (Kathy) keeping it all together. You have not tasted eggs until you have tasted a farm fresh egg from one of the Golden Comet Chickens roaming the ground at Pine Hill and if you're a fan of local honey you have found the finest honey around (she let's me eat it out of the comb right from the hive!). Kathy is a true believer in keeping a balance between delivering top quality products while not sacrificing the methods behind them.

Stuart Family Farm

For over 75 years the Stuart Family has been farming the right way. Today they have over 600 acres of gorgeous, rolling pastures nestled deep in the picturesque woods of Bridgewater, CT. They specialize in raising 100% Grass Fed, 100% Free Range Beef (Red Angus and Herefords). The cows roam at their leisure out in the pastures, grazing on native grasses and resting in the shade of giant oak trees during the day. Like many of the farmers we have partnered with, Bill Stuart is first and foremost a conservationist and custodian of the planet. His products are of the absolute highest quality (they are even available at some restaurants in Greenwich) and we are proud to offer them to you.

Sprout Creek Farm

Encompassing 200 acres in Dutchess County, NY, Sprout Creek Farm is a truly gorgeous example of sustainable dairy farming in the Northeast. It is a working farm, raising free-ranging cows, sheep, goats, wild turkeys, guinea fowl, chickens, and pigs. Their cheeses are made from the nutritious and creamy (antibiotic and hormone free) milk of the small herds of happy cows and goats that roam the pastures eating what they're supposed to eat – grass. Cheeses aged over 60 days are made with raw milk – bigger flavor and very nutritious. Those tender and fresh cheeses aged less than 60 days are made with pasteurized milk.

Milk from animals that eat what they were designed to eat (grass) is nutrient rich, low in cholesterol, high in Omega 3s, and still retains proteins, minerals and vitamins necessary for good health.

Their cheese is truly exceptional in every sense of the word and I am proud to offer it to you.

Meili Farm

Meili Farm, owned and run by Craig and Sophie Meili, encompasses over 100 acres of beautiful pasture and woods in Amenia, NY. It is one of the most well run, clean, humane farms I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Their Tamworth-Berkshire hogs, Belted Galloway-Hereford cows, and heritage breed laying hens are all raised on pasture in the most natural way possible. All hogs and cows are bred, born and raised on the farm.

The pastured hogs are hand-fed a mix of natural grains, vegetables, hay and goat milk whey from a local cheese maker twice daily. They have complete access to root, wallow, run, rest in the shade, and behave exactly as they are meant to.

Living in such a stress free environment ensures that the animals never have any need for antibiotics, hormones, or other treatments.

We are delighted to offer their products to you and know you will be impressed with the taste and quality of pasture raised meats.
